The short rib over tagliatelle was FANTASTIC! A most delicious dish. The meat was cooked to perfection and the cream sauce with mushrooms complimented the dish beautifully. And their chopped salad was amazing, very tasty with lots of savory crunch, and big enough to share with someone. Service was courteous and quick.

I found this spot around the corner from my hotel and made a reservation for breakfast. They have an attractive menu and the breakfast sandwich I had was messy (runny eggs!) but it was excellent! The decor is very artsy and upscale and I loved the ambiance, even in the early morning. Would definitely return.

Everything i have ever eaten here has been so delish! My favorite is their bread plate. I know very random but it is so good. The only drawback is the hours. This is more a me issue. lol the hours do not fit well in my schedule and when they are open they do not have a full menu for the times I can eat here. I work nearby off hours. They usually open later that and I have to be at work. With that said. I do try to run in whenever I can since the food is so darn good. Service has always been amazing to the point they remember my name the next time I come in. Impressive. Pretty patio and decor. It has always been a great spot to eat. The head chef is always innovative and amazing.

This was my first time here. The decor is amazing - bright colors, lighting, spacious. There's a very nice outdoor seating area. I'm with a party of about 20. We were seated upon arrival with more than half of the guests present. The staff were friendly. I ordered the Fork Tender Short Rib without mushrooms. It was delicious. Te meat was very tender. The pasta was cooked well. I enjoyed it. Our table ordered the apple pie and it came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We had our server cut it in 4 pieces. I typically do not eat apple pie. This was not super sweet. The crust had a nice flavor. I'm glad I tried it.

This place is really beautiful inside & the positioning of the bar is fantastic. Compliments to whoever designed this lovely place. Reminders of Palm Springs mid century. Service was very good. We came here on New Years Eve & there were plenty of spots for happy hour. Prices were reasonable. I had a glass of Chardonnay & my husband had a pinot noir. We liked them. My wine was an oaky blend, which I prefer. The bartender was able to explain the notes of the wine prior to serving. The food: The guac with chips: The jicama & relished red onion really added to the yummy guac. I would order again. Having said that, we really disliked the accompanying salsa. It was almost like a spaghetti sauce. Not a fan. We also had the Al Pastor Meatballs, and both can't wait to eat these again. These lil guys are packed with an array of flavors that can't be beat! We followed with an amazing budino, that had ice cream covered in an orange chocolate sauce. This dessert was pricy at $12.00, but worth every indulgent penny! I have been to Caracara before, and will return!

Went here for NYE and made a reservation. The ambience and interior design of the restaurant is the main selling point. The margaritas are premade but were pretty delicious. The cauliflower had a solid portion for the price but was a little thick on the batter. The potatoes and broccolini that came with the steak were great but I wasn't overly impressed by the steak itself. Splitting it was perfect portion at least. I'd come here to try different meals again. Shout out to our waitress Jessica who was so polite and fun to talk to!

Special shout out to Jessica the server. It was my first time having dinner here and she was honest and gave great recommendations on cocktails and food. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower which was delicious but a little heavy on the batter. I think it would be better with less batter. The margaritas are delicious. I got the prickly pear and tried the traditional margarita. Both were great! Lastly we ended with a New York steak strip that came with broccolini and potatoes. This was pretty big so I shared it with my partner. Overall with one margarita, the buffalo cauliflower and the NY steak, I was super full! These put us around $103 after tax. This is also a stunning restaurant. They have a tree in the center with lights, the wrap around bar is perfect to start your night out downtown and they also have an outdoor patio with a fireplace.

The best part of Caracara is the atmosphere. There are lots of really gorgeous lighting fixtures, including some red and green glass fixtures over the bar that almost look like apples and pears. The focus is the giant tree in the middle of the dining room with seating all around it. There are some seating areas with sofas to drink cocktails at and a couple of private rooms. The patio outside is lovely, with lemon trees and plants all around and gorgeous basket weave lighting fixtures. We had a reservation and receded immediately under the big tree in the dining room. Our server was good, despite appearing to be very busy. We ordered a couple of cocktails - -the Bale, which was fantastic with coconut, pineapple, and run, and the Haboob, a fruity and spicy drink. We ordered the Caracara Angus Burger, which is served with some of the best smokey seasoned waffle fries I've ever had. A bonus: a donation is made to the Children's Miracle Network every time one of these burgers is ordered. We also ordered the Fermin Iberico bone-in pork chop with peach chutney. Both were really good. Can't wait to get back there when the weather is cooler to sit in that gorgeous patio and try the sticky shrimp, which looked amazing as it passed us to be served to a different table.
